Summertime es una canción de George Gershwin, Ira Gershwin y DuBose Heyward, escrita para la ópera Porgy and Bess allá por 1935. Tiene miles y miles de versiones, es imposible no haberla ecuchado alguna vez pero no estoy seguro que sepan que es una canción de cuna basada en una vieja melodía de Ucraniana llamada “Oi Khodyt Son Kolo Vikon” (A dream passes by the windows):
The dream passes by the window, and sleep by the fence
the dream asks sleep: “where should we rest tonight?”
where the house is warm, where the child is small,

Esta canción es una de las interpretaciones que más me gustan de Janis. La otra versión no la conocía, son muy diferentes.

mirando y escuchando Lola dirige su mirada a la PC, la madre le habrá cantado esto jajaja.
Creo haber escuchado en alguna peli, la versión que pones solo música…pero no conocía lo que nos cuentas!!!

Seguramente la habrás escuchado, debe ser una de las canciones con más versiones que existe y es casi inevitable :)
